All Dielectric Self Supporting Optical Fiber Cable（ADSS fiber optic cable）

ADSS optical cable is also called all-dielectric self-supporting optical cable. All-dielectric means that the optical cable uses all-dielectric materials. Self-supporting means that the optical cable’s own reinforcement components can withstand its own weight and external loads.
Because it is self-supporting, its mechanical strength is very important; all-dielectric materials are used because the optical cable is in a high-voltage and strong-electric environment and must be able to withstand the influence of strong electricity: because it is used overhead on a power pole, a matching hanger must be used to fix the optical cable on the pole. (1) Designed specifically for power systems, it is a self-supporting overhead optical cable with a fully insulating medium. Its structure does not contain any metal materials:
(2) The fully insulating structure and high withstand voltage index are conducive to the installation of overhead power lines under power operation without affecting the operation of the lines;
(3) The use of high tensile strength waterproof materials can not only withstand strong tension to meet the large span requirements of overhead power lines, but also prevent bird pecking and human shooting:
(4) The thermal expansion coefficient of ADSS optical cable is small. When the temperature changes greatly, the curvature of the optical cable line changes very little and its weight is light, so its ice and wind load are also small.
