Name: Category 6 Unshielded Network Jumper
Standard: Complies with international standards such as ISO/IEC 11801, TIA/EIA 568-C.2.
Physical Properties
Conductor: Usually 23AWG or 24AWG single-core bare copper or multi-stranded bare copper is used. If 23AWG single-core bare copper is used as the conductor, the wire diameter is generally about 0.57mm.
Insulation layer: Polyethylene polymer material is selected, and the insulation wire diameter is usually about 1.0mm, which can effectively reduce signal attenuation and crosstalk.
Wire core structure: Four pairs of twisted pairs, each pair of twisted pairs is twisted together, and the four pairs of twisted pairs are isolated by the cross in the center of the cable or maintained in relative position by other means to improve the balance characteristics and crosstalk attenuation of the cable.
Outer skin: mostly flame-retardant polymer materials, common colors include light gray, yellow, blue, gray, etc., the outer skin thickness is generally around 0.5-0.585mm, and the finished product outer diameter is usually between 6.0-6.5mm.
Length: Common lengths are 0.5m, 1m, 1.5m, 2m, 3m, 5m, etc., and can also be customized according to customer needs.

Transmission frequency: up to 250MHz.
Transmission rate: Supports 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet transmission, and some can support 10Gbps transmission, but the transmission distance will be limited.
Characteristic impedance: generally 100Ω±15%, within the frequency range of 1MHz to 600MHz.
Attenuation: At 250MHz, the attenuation value per 100 meters is usually within a certain range, such as 39.4dB/100m, etc., and the attenuation will increase with the increase of frequency.
Near-end crosstalk (NEXT): Within the specified frequency range, the NEXT value has strict requirements to ensure the quality of signal transmission and reduce crosstalk interference.
Synthetic attenuation-crosstalk ratio (PS-ACR): There should be a large margin at 200MHz to ensure the stability of high-speed data transmission.
Return loss: The minimum value specified in the standard should be met at each frequency point to reduce signal reflection.
Mechanical properties
Tensile strength: Able to withstand a certain tensile force without breaking to meet the mechanical stress requirements during installation and use.
Bending radius: Generally, the bending radius is required to be no less than 4 times the outer diameter of the cable to prevent the cable from being over-bent and damaging the internal structure and affecting the electrical performance.
Other characteristics
Operating temperature range: Usually between -20℃ and 60℃, but may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Voltage resistance: Able to withstand a certain AC or DC voltage, such as 300V AC or DC.
