Name: Category 5e Shielded Twisted Pair STP-CAT5E
Use: Suitable for 100Base-T, 1000Base-T and other Ethernet network connections with high requirements for electromagnetic interference, commonly used in industrial environments, computer rooms and other places.
Structure and physical properties
Conductor:
Material: oxygen-free bare copper wire
Wire diameter: usually 24AWG, single diameter is about 0.5mm
Insulation: polyolefin insulation material, insulation outer diameter is about 0.98mm
Wire pair: 4 pairs of twisted pairs, core wire colors are white/blue, red/orange, black/green, yellow/brown.
Shielding layer: double-sided aluminum foil composite tape wrapped shielding, density 100%; tinned copper wire braided shielding, density ≥75%.
Sheath: flame retardant polyvinyl chloride PVC or special mixed PVC/PUR and other materials, usually gray in color, nominal outer diameter is about 5.6±0.2mm.

Characteristic impedance: 100Ω±15%, in the frequency range of 1-100MHz.
Single-core conductor DC resistance: ≤127.5Ω/km.
Loop conductor DC resistance: ≤255Ω/km.
Insulation resistance at 20℃: ≥5000MΩ·km.

Working capacitance (line pair): ≤44pF/m at 0.8-1kHz.
Transfer impedance: 20/9/25mΩ/m at 1/10/30MHz respectively.
Attenuation: ≤3.2/6/9.5/12.1/13.6/17.1/24.8/32.0dB/100m at 1/4/10/16/20/31.25/62.5/100MHz.

Mechanical characteristics
Bending radius: The minimum bending radius during installation is not less than 8 times the outer diameter of the cable; the minimum bending radius during use is not less than 10 times the outer diameter of the cable.
Tensile force: During installation and use, excessive stretching of the cable should be avoided. It is generally recommended that the tension should not exceed 110N.
Compressive strength: It can withstand a certain amount of pressure and will not be damaged by extrusion under normal use conditions.
Number of plugging and unplugging: The number of plugging and unplugging of the RJ45 plug is not less than 1000 times.
Environmental characteristics
Working temperature: -20℃ to 60℃.
Storage temperature: -40℃ to 70℃.
Humidity: It can work normally in an environment with a relative humidity of 5% to 95%.
Flame retardant level: It complies with relevant standards such as IEC60332-1 single vertical burning test.
